Key job responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities include: - Develop mobile terminal architecture by working closely with sub-system engineers in electrical, RF, antenna, thermal, modem, DSP, ASIC, algorithm, firmware, modeling, and software - Design tradeoffs of various terminal architectures, including RF and performance simulations to support tradeoff decisions - Develop the mobility lab so aviation, maritime, and automotive terminals can be validated both in lab environments and with LEO satellites - Proactively engage with internal and external development partners on systems' hardware and software architectures and implementation - Ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, regulatory, and business requirements - Perform in-field and on-orbit validation with satellites - Traveling up to 10% of the time, depending on project phases Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
