Safety is a key pillar of our services!  This posting is for multiple Visual Flight Rules (VFR) positions, we have many other opportunities available! The AC-130J Academic/Simulator/Contract Instructor (CI) Pilot will provide formal aircrew academic and simulator flight training to officer and enlisted initial qualification, mission qualification, requalification, instructor upgrade, and key staff students to conduct close air support, air interdiction, and armed reconnaissance. Current as a Pilot in the AC-130J within the previous two years; or within the previous 8 years if the candidate has performed 8 years of military operational flying duty at the time of hire with at least two years or 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the AC130J H/U/W/J.

<h5>AC-130J Academic/Simulator/Contract Instructor (CI) Pilot </h5>The AC-130J Academic/Simulator/Contract Instructor (CI) Pilot will provide formal aircrew academic and simulator flight training to officer and enlisted initial qualification, mission qualification, requalification, instructor upgrade, and key staff students to conduct close air support, air interdiction, and armed reconnaissance. Essential Functions of the Position: <ul><li>Provide instruction in AC-130J emergency procedures training, systems operation, instrument flight, and tactical operations. </li><li>Provide academic and simulator refresher training to qualified AC-130J aircrew members. </li><li>Assist in the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process in designing, developing of and ensuring all AC-130J courseware is correctly applied. </li><li>The selected candidate will become a Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) certified instructor. </li><li>Perform other duties as directed by the management team. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Must have Security Clearance </li><li>Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college. </li><li>Current as a Pilot in the AC-130J within the previous two years; or within the previous 8 years if the candidate has performed 8 years of military operational flying duty at the time of hire with at least two years or 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the AC130J H/U/W/J. </li><li>Waivers are possible for candidates not meeting the above requirements but have prior AC-130 experience and/or have experience as an AC-130J Contract Instructor. </li><li>The selected candidate must be able to obtain a minimum of an active SECRET clearance and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information and Communications Security (COMSEC) material. </li><li>Creative, responsive and adaptive in a dynamic environment. </li><li>Ability to work 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required. </li><li>Solid interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment. </li><li>Ability to communicate orally, write, read, and comprehend English. </li></ul>EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled.
