Preflight will be conducted utilizing the appropriate rotorcraft flight manual. This role involves operating and maintaining specialized equipment to ensure accurate and efficient application, following agronomic recommendations, and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. The Application Specialist works closely with customers, Location Managers,and agronomists to understand specific field conditions, ensuring that agricultural crop production input products are applied at the correct rates and locations to optimize crop yields and protect the environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain custom application equipment, including sprayers, spreaders, and other machinery.Apply agricultural crop production input products according to agronomic plans and regulatory guidelines.Conduct pre- and post-application inspections of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.Follow detailed application maps and instructions to ensure precise product placement and application rates.Monitor weather conditions and field variables to determine the best application timing and method.Maintain accurate records of custom applications, including products used, rates, and areas treated.Communicate with customers, agronomists, and other team members to coordinate application schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals.Assist with inventory management and reporting of chemical usage.Perform minor repairs and adjustments on equipment as needed. Required Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in agronomy or agriculture is a plus.Obtain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with required endorsements (e.g., HazMat, Tanker) within six months of employment and maintain a clean driving record.All required federal and state pesticide licenses within the first six months of employment.Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.Experience operating agricultural machinery, particularly sprayers and spreaders, is preferred.Knowledge of agronomy practices, crop protection products, and safety regulations is preferred.Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture technology is a plus.Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and compliance.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading.The role involves physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy products.High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Provide Exceptional Customer Service. Job Description Farm & Agricultural Aviation Operations Technician (2 Positions Open) Location: Central Missouri Status: Full-Time, Year-Round Hiring: ASAP We are a long-established agricultural operation (25 years in business) seeking two dependable, hands-on employees to work across row-crop farming and agricultural aviation support. This role combines farm work with seasonal helicopter spraying operations during the summer. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes long days, real responsibility, and learning multiple sides of the ag industry. Job Overview This position is split between: <ul><li>Farm operations (year-round)</li><li>Agricultural aviation support (seasonal - July & August)</li></ul>The aviation side is intense and fast-paced, while the farm side provides steady, full-year employment. Aviation / Helicopter Application Duties (Summer - July & August)<ul><li>Load and stage spray trucks</li><li>Mix and handle agricultural chemicals safely and accurately</li><li>Support helicopter spray operations</li><li>Coordinate logistics between trucks, pilots, and customers</li><li>Assist with customer scheduling and job planning</li><li>Help build and manage customer accounts</li><li>Long days (daylight to dark) for approximately 60 days straight</li><li>Production-based work paid per acre</li></ul>Note: This portion is physically demanding and best suited for someone comfortable with long summer hours.
