Performs preventive/corrective maintenance inspections & service on production equipment/machinery such as (not limited to) piping, pipe fitting, welding, valves (manual & actuated), steam traps, heat exchangers, pumps (various types), motors (electrical), conveyors, & compressed air systems. The maintenance mechanic repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
