The business systems analyst provides advanced technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, testing, documentation, implementation and support of system applications including the asset maintenance management computer system referred to as maintenance control system, or MCS; provides input in maintenance management methodology and process improvement initiatives; provides coordination and accountability for all aspects of MCS system administration, data security and integrity; provides centralized compliance task administration for operating, environmental, and safety procedures; provides analysis and reporting on compliance data; and provides training and day-to-day support for all maintenance management system users. Perform critical data administration functions including: implementing pipeline safety and risk department class location and pipeline encroachment density survey results, updating current and historical records while ensuring and maintaining compliance requirements; implementing compliance task changes by researching and analyzing changes to operating, environmental, and safety procedures.
