Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for working on equipment, distance vision for looking at overhead equipment, color vision for color coding--wire, steam lines, etc., peripheral vision to see forklift traffic and to view the process, depth perception for making repairs and working on ladders, and the ability to adjust focus for seeing overhead equipment and working on machinery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to:Extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise.
