Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Rotating Equipment Mechanics to work 2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm) that will perform a variety of mechanical operations / tasks on turbomachinery components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Three years prior experience as a ride mechanic at a Six Flags Theme Park or the equivalent preferred
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license
• Possess a thorough operational understanding of maintenance procedures to include State and OEM requirements
• Have the capability to access all areas of the park (to include confined spaces and heights above 200ft); must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of bending, squatting and kneeling
• Possess a thorough working knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, etc. and train others on the safe usage of equipment
• Have the capability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
