Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities - Install, repair, and maintain: - Water supply systems - Drainage and wastewater systems - Pipes, fixtures, and plumbing equipment - Perform preventive maintenance on: - Water rides - Boilers, sinks, bathrooms, drains - Grease traps, lift stations, and gas systems - Diagnose and fix issues: - Leaks, clogs, pressure problems - Pipe damage and system failures - Use tools and techniques such as: - Cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes - Working with materials like steel, plastic, and brass - Read and interpret: - Blueprints - Schematics and technical manuals - Maintain inventory and order parts when needed - Ensure all work meets: - Plumbing codes - Health and safety regulations - Keep work areas clean and safe - Interact with: - Staff, supervisors, vendors, and sometimes park guests Qualifications: Requirements / Qualifications - 2-4+ years of plumbing experience (Journeyman-level preferred) - Knowledge of: - Plumbing codes - Fire systems and water systems - Ability to: - Read blueprints and technical documents - Troubleshoot and solve problems - Valid drivers license - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong communication and teamwork skills Work Conditions: - Full-time, often 40+ hours per week during peak season - Must be available for: - Nights - Weekends - Holidays - Outdoor and indoor work across the park - Physically demanding (lifting, bending, working in tight spaces).
