Qualifications 7+ years of podcast or audio journalism experience, particularly within investigative journalismDemonstrated experience leading editorial direction for narrative-based programming3+ years prior experience managing and developing production staffStrong scriptwriting, editing, and storytelling skillsExperience overseeing production budgets and complex workflowsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsStrong audio production fluency; experience with tools such as Asana and Riverside is preferred but not requiredDemonstrated ability to create culturally competent coverage and operate with sensitivity to trans and LGBTQ+ communitiesWillingness and availability to travel occasionally for on-site investigative reporting, including potential multi-day field assignmentsPhysical Requirements Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periodsProlonged periods working on a computerCommunicating with others to exchange informationRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingersMust be able to lift 15 pounds at a timeLocation This is a fully remote position.
