The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Law at Northeastern University seek to fill an open-rank faculty position at the tenured/tenure-track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor level in the area of Artificial Intelligence Policy, Regulation, and Governance, broadly construed to include how human-centered AI systems can be used, governed, and designed responsibly as well as how they impact politics and society. The research statement should address the research topics/questions you have worked on in the past, key findings you have discovered, key products (or outputs) of these efforts, funding you have received, as well as research plans for the future.
