This position will have mentoring, training and certification tracks that promotes your personal growth. This is a summary of the Lot Porter / RV Technician Trainee position and is not intended to be a complete job description. This person must be a good fit in with our existing team and customer service culture.   Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Preferred Requirements: <ol><li>Positions require valid driver’s license and with clean driving record. </li><li>ability to obtain a DOT physical, cleared to tow up to 18,000#s</li><li>Must have own tools as list on company required tool list.</li><li>Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, mechanical parts & fumes</li><li>Some lifting up to 50-95lbs</li><li>Comfortable with an iPad or Computer</li><li>Ability to work safely on ladders and Scaffolding</li><li>Must be able to pass physical and drug/alcohol screening prior to employment.  We promote a drug-free work environment; ongoing testing to maintain employment.</li><li>Experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Experience in transporting recreational vehicles helpful.</li><li>Good written and oral communication skills</li><li>Keeps track of parts and materials used in repair or replacement activities.</li><li>Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected by supervisor or designee.</li><li>Basic mathematical ability</li><li>Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment</li><li>Monitors operation of newly installed equipment.</li><li>Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers.</li><li>Understanding and interpretation of electrical diagrams and basic construction drawings</li><li>Plans sequence of functions necessary for repair or replacement activities.</li><li> Wiliness to comply and provides exceptional customer service based on the processes in place</li><li>Keep units and equipment secure from weather</li><li>Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels</li><li>Extra time during Monday – Friday and Saturday hours are required in the busy season. </li><li>Job’s to include working owner’s personal projects</li></ol>
