Participates in the review and prioritization of change requests, performs system analysis of departmental needs, assures operational alignment, preparation of project proposals, system selection and approves changes to Clinical Informatics System design, cost analysis, contract review, implementation, and evaluation. Supports the effective use of electronic health record data, aids in establishing metrics and key performance indicators and report development (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive reports) contributing to evidence-based practice.
