As directed by the provider may perform designated diagnostic tests; draw, prepare designated lab work and/or specimens; administer immunization, injections, oral, or IV medications; convey lab results to patients; assist in follow-up scheduling needs; answer patient calls in a timely fashion and communication significant clinical findings to the provider. Oversees, and as necessary, performs administrative functions as needed, which can include answering and triaging telephone calls for patient care matters, functioning as a liaison between physicians, the patients and the staff including the front office.
