Working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, the Nurse Practitioner evaluates patient health concerns, orders and interprets diagnostic testing, develops individualized plans of care, and provides evidence-based treatment within the scope of education, training, licensure, and applicable protocols. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary and specialty medical care to patients in a physician clinic setting, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education.
