Responsibilities * Lead development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system designs * Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to define product operating environments * Perform structural analysis using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other engineering analysis tools * Guide product design and verify structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle * Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results * Define and document certification and validation results to support customer and regulatory requirements * Support in-service products through failure investigations and corrective improvement analysis * Develop and improve analytical tools and processes to enhance engineering efficiency and quality * Support structural analysis activities with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field * 10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience * 8+ years of experience analyzing primary structures, subsystems, or weapons within the aerospace industry * Experience performing hand calculations and structural analysis using CAD and FEM tools such as PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA, PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck, Hyperworks, or Abaqus * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications * Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance post-start Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) * Experience with Boeing Analysis Tools including CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, and Common Structures Workstation * Prior Boeing work experience strongly preferred Education & Experience * Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master's degree + 3 years' related work experience). This role supports system design, structural integrity analysis, certification activities, testing, and in-service investigations for aerospace products and systems.
