Operates and Troubleshoots: Ability to learn operational features of printing and bindery equipment such as offset presses, plate-making equipment, Inkjet Presses, digital printers, foil stamping machines, programmable paper cutters, folders, shrink wrappers, and round cornering; performs preventative maintenance on printing and bindery equipment. Since this position requires onsite presence in support of the U.S. Senate when in session, this position requires the employee to be available and prepared to work during a government lapse in appropriations, in inclement weather, on holidays, and during late night, overnight, and weekend sessions.
