While they may occasionally support direct service minutes, the focus is on coordination and program oversight. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Develop, review, and monitor the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 Plans for a designated caseload of students.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Coordinate and lead IEP meetings, ensuring the participation of all required personnel and documentation of proceedings in compliance with IDEA regulations.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Serve as the primary liaison between school staff, families, and external agencies involved in the education of students with disabilities.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Coordinate meetings and assessments for students who are in process for special education.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Administer assessments for students who are in the evaluation or reevaluation process</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Conduct FBAs and write BIPs </li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain comprehensive records of student progress, IEP documentation, and compliance activities.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Provide professional guidance and support to teachers and school staff regarding special education regulations and best practices.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Ensure all special education practices and records are in compliance with state and federal laws and district policies.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Assist in the development of training materials and deliver training sessions related to IEP processes and compliance standards.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Create materials [schedules, social stories, visuals, etc.] to support classroom case managers</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Update and maintain management system</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Evaluate and respond to the needs of the school and district for process improvements in special education practices.</li></ul> ROLE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field;
