Required Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED, Minimum of two years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, cash collections, insurance benefit verification, or customer service experience, Excellent guest relation skills including verbal and written skills, Expert-level knowledge of third party payer requirements and online benefit verification. Preferred Education and/or Experience: Experience as a front-line user with Cerner Millennium Scheduling and Registration modules, Associate Degree in business, healthcare or related field, HFMA Credentialed Revenue Cycle Representative.
