Basic Qualifications - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field - 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing and category management in indirect categories such as professional services, support or maintenance spend, supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience - Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations - Experience in modeling complex business scenarios - Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data to inform decision-making processes - Experience collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple organizations - Experience presenting designs and collaborating with all levels of the organization - Experience in procurement and purchasing, including supplier relationship management - Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field, with a focus on equipment, industrial automation/robotics, CAPEX or similar complex categories. Our PCM drive efficiencies in procurement strategy and commercial pricing, enable engineering efficiencies through effective partnership with Amazon's design teams, and support Amazon's long-term business interests through partnership within One-MHS teams as well as other teams like GPO, Capital Planning, Project Management Organization (PMO), Worldwide Design Engineering (WWDE), Finance, Global Engineering Services (GES) Operations Engineering (Ops Eng.), and Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME).
