Thorough knowledge of all lines of insurance with an emphasis on commercial lines of insurance; adequate knowledge of agency operations, including claims handling, procedures, carrier rating, agency management systems and applicable insurance laws/codes; knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures; interest in sales, demonstrates a desire to achieve set goals, self-driven/competitive mindset; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with agency management systems; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 40 lbs. The Producer will work to identify external prospects and clients, as well as, middle market bank leads, and will work with Commercial Lines Account Managers and Director of Account Placement to ensure accounts are written and serviced properly.
