Manages the Tableau Server environment(s) and Site(s), builds and publishes interactive dashboards, and consults with all internal IT teams to ensure an infrastructure that supports stable, well-designed, highly available, and properly maintained Administers and supports Tableau infrastructure, creates and manages groups, workbooks and projects, database views, data sources, and data connectionsUtilizes SQL and data storage techniques to cultivate data from multiple data sourcesLeads Tableau activities including application and program initiatives by providing oversight and management of the business needs, development requirements for enhancements and modifications related to requirements and delivery cyclesCollaborates with internal users and external vendors to translate corporate/functional business and information objectives into a strategic/tactical business plan Evaluates, facilitates and manages meetings with key stakeholders to review and map out existing practices and identify efficiencies attainable through process alignment and/or improvementsDesigns, maintains and enforces Tableau best practices and governance policies. a Tableau server environmentKnowledge of principles, practices, and procedures required to perform business needs analysis and analysis requirements Ability to analyze data sets and document business processes Ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities or work direction change Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to customers and staff Ability to organize work for timely completion Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships, influence and build consensus with those contacted in the course of work Skill in Microsoft Office applications Ability to commute with personal transportation and travel up to 25% of the time.
