Leads and directs project teams in the development or sustaining process to execute projects and assignments Participates in sales meetings, visits customers and end-users as necessary, and evangelizes / champions assigned product lines including delivering product training presentations to internal sales and technical support teams, as well as external customers Works closely with in collaboration with Channel and Marketing Managers to develop marketing strategies, messaging, and materials aligned with wider product strategy and positioning Capable of managing the support activities of an Associate Product Manager and / or Product Coordinator Qualifications Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality Must be self-reliant and possess excellent oral and written communication skills Must apply critical thinking skills to determine best approach to bring new products to market and to work with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales staffs Ability to organize, manage and lead project teams to support the development of business opportunities and execute business decisions Capable of navigating complex enterprise computer applications to quickly become proficient Knowledge of manufacturing and operations processes Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers Strong mathematical, analytical and computer skills A highly developed level of creative skills and resourcefulness is required Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills Education & Experience A Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field is required. Is the subject matter expert for assigned product lines or products, markets, customers, and competitors, providing advisory support and comprehensive product information to Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Sales teams.
