At a minimum, all employees must be at least 18 years of age (upon the date of hire); have a high school diploma or equivalency; have no felony, drug, or domestic violence convictions; pass all required pre-employment screenings; possess a valid Louisiana driver's license; be able to communicate both verbally and in writing as required; and possess basic computer skills such as typing, writing reports, and sending and/or receiving emails as applicable to the position. This class is responsible for managing, coordinating, and implementing the inspections, repairs, and servicing of the Sheriff's Office automotive fleet and operational vehicles such as farm tractors and ATVs ensuring that they run to their maximum efficiency.
