p>Required: The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
Evaluate seed bins to determine necessary repairs • Wash seed bins using power sprayers • Cut out replacement sections from the scrap seed bin • Plastic weld the replacement section using proper welding techniques • Diagnose common equipment problems and effectively communicate with maintenance personnel • Coordinate with team members for maximum production efficiency and safety • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime • Use basic hand tools for routine equipment adjustments and repairs • Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms, and differentiate between different colors (especially red and green).
