ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Shop SupportRead and follow blueprints, shop drawings, measurements, and fabrication instructionsMeasure, mark, cut, drill, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication and assemblyFabricate and assemble sheet metal ductwork and related componentsAssist with plumbing spool fabrication, plumbing assemblies, framing fabrication, and structural welding Assembly & FinishingFit, assemble, fasten, and prepare fabricated components for welding or installationClean, grind, deburr, paint, label, and finish materials and completed assemblies Quality Control & Material HandlingInspect work for proper dimensions, fit, finish, and visible defects; organize and move materials as needed Tools, Maintenance & SafetySafely operate drills, chop saws, grinders, hand tools, welding equipment, and other shop machineryMaintain tools, equipment, work areas, and overall shop needs while following PPE and safety requirements Requirements and Experience:General fabrication, welding, construction, or shop experience preferredAbility to read basic blueprints, shop drawings, and measurementsAbility to safely use drills, chop saws, grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipmentStrong attention to safety, quality, and productivityBasic math, measuring, and layout skillsAbility to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work as part of a teamOccasional overtime or weekend work based in job needsAccept and perform other work as assigned QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. This position assists with sheet metal ductwork, plumbing spools and assemblies, framing components, structural welding, material preparation, finishing, and general shop operations.
