Additionally, this position oversees efforts to expand access to buprenorphine in community-based settings through the Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) Intervention Unit, which includes the Hub and Spoke model, Overdose Survivors Outreach Programs, Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), and Maryland Addiction Consultation Services (MACS). The Program Manager is responsible for administering Drug User Health Services, which include initiatives such as overdose education and naloxone distribution (OEND), Opioid Associated Disease Prevention and Outreach Programs (OADPOP)s, drug user health training and capacity building, epidemiological surveillance, and systems-level coordination.
