The successful candidate will champion the development of this new major and contribute to undergraduate education, applied research, workforce development initiatives, grant-funded projects, and strategic partnerships with shipyards, industry, government agencies, classification societies, maritime technology organizations, and interdisciplinary collaborators across Cal Poly.
