The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serves as an integral member of the Department of Psychiatry's team, providing screening, assessments, short and intermediate-term psychotherapy services, crisis intervention, care coordination, referral to community resources, and other social work services designed to meet the complex needs of patients and families in the clinic setting. Specialties in the Department include adult and child psychiatry, integrated behavioral health, women's mental health, medically complex clinics for adults and pediatrics, geriatric psychiatry, advanced psychiatric therapeutics including TMS and esketamine, a substance use disorder treatment clinic, a trauma disorders clinic, mood disorder clinic, anxiety/OCD program, LGBTQ+ mental health clinic, and an early psychosis clinic.
