This position also directs activities to implement regulatory readiness through an ongoing program that objectively and systematically monitors and evaluates the quality of patient care and the required documentation, identifies and pursues opportunities to improve patient care and related documentation through interdisciplinary performance improvement activities, and develops audit tools and processes and directs activities to coordinate open and closed chart reviews as well as mock tracer activities to ensure survey readiness preparations. We offer a range of services for our patients - including the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, pediatric intensive care unit, Level I trauma center with two free-standing emergency departments, advanced wound care center, breast cancer center and Carolina Forest Imaging Center.
