Success in this role requires maintaining a strong field presence, proactively identifying hazards, effectively communicating with craft personnel and supervision, and ensuring highway construction activities are executed safely while supporting productivity, quality, schedule objectives, and traffic management requirements within a high-visibility urban project environment. The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with craft personnel, equipment operators, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of highway construction activities in a fast-paced urban environment.
