div>Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an advanced degree as a Psychiatric Nurse.
· Current and valid Pennsylvania Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) License. Furthermore, CMC of PA offers exciting treatment modalities, comprising of TMS and Spravato.
To ensure optimal patient care, PMHNP are scheduled for a minimum of 1-hour evaluations, 90-min evals for minors under 16 years of age, and 30-min medication management appointments.
PMHNP will have a caseload based on specialty, as well as office staff to assist with scheduling, patient documentation collection, assistance with labs and pharmacies.
p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Master's, postgraduate, or doctoral degree from a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) (formerly NLNAC | National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

In addition to inpatient psychiatric care, our program also provides: • Outpatient mental health treatment with psychiatrists, advanced nurse practitioners, and licensed clinical social workers who are embedded within 28 primary care offices • CASTLE pediatric behavioral health program, including outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, partial hospitalization, and a therapeutic nursery for kids ages 3 to 4 • Advanced interventional psychiatry providing treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation • Substance use disorder treatment through our Medication for Addiction Treatment program • Perinatal mood and anxiety disorder program.
