Mental Health Provider (Psychiatric PA or NP) - Leander, TX Geode HealthMental Health Provider (Psychiatric PA or NP) - Leander, TXLeander, TXKey Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals with mental health needs Document and navigate EHR independently Maintain strict client confidentiality Participate in the creation of an individualized treatment plan after discussing the case with the mental health care team, collecting and reviewing psychosocial data, medical history, nursing assessment, and other pertinent information Evaluate patients for the need for a higher level of care, including hospitalization Provide patient education, specifically around issues related to medications and treatment adherence, and aftercare services Work closely with Supervising physician to ensure improved patient outcomes and high-quality care Diagnose and treat patients from different backgrounds/diverse backgrounds in a respectful manner Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner. Ability to hear and understand others when speaking Ability to view computer screen monitor, small objects few feet away * Ability to act and move quickly in emergency situations involving patient care.
