Provides direct care to patients within discipline Scope of Practice and performs functions in accordance with current accepted practice, licensure, certification, credentialing and or granted privileges. Working with the patients local primary care provider (PCP) to coordinate care for any identified medical concerns (patients local administrative staff will coordinate the appointment).

p>Salary applicable to locations South of the 26° South Latitude Trainee Psychiatrist Year 1-7 $175,576 to $235,046 p.a. pro rata Salary applicable to locations North of the 26° South Latitude Registrar Year 3 $200,773 p.a. pro rata HSMP Year 1-6 $301,700 to $378,680 p.a. pro rata All salaries are inclusive of base salary, professional development allowance and 12% superannuation. The Rural Psychiatry Training WA (RPTWA) program is overseen by the Western Australia Psychiatry Training Committee, in accordance with the requirements for obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
