Job DescriptionTalkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice built to combine the stability of a hospital practice with the clinical autonomy of private practice.
Patient population across the lifespan: children & adolescents (treated by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only), adults, and geriatric patients
.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Degree issuing institution and or program must be accredited by an entity recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the United States or; Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school that provided education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States as established by: The National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA) and Permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Provides telepsychiatry services for patients at other facilities as needed and as the local facility allows, only in the states the provider is licensed, to include: Working with the patient's local primary care provider (PCP) to coordinate care for any identified medical concerns (patient's local administrative staff will coordinate the appointment).

Qualifications:
• BC or BE in Psychiatry & Neurology
• MD or DO
• U.S. Citizens/U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents/open to sponsoring H1 or J1 visas for qualified candidates
• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
• Strong clinical background with solid experience in Psychiatry
• Responsive to a fast-paced environment
• Must have a working knowledge of EMR/EHR
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical settings
• Bilingual is a plus
