As part of the Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) administration; Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services (MHSATS) division, AMRTC is a 96-bed modern tertiary care teaching hospital, which provides hospital care to adults with mental illness and substance use disorders (often co-occurring), as well as other complex health conditions. As the attending psychiatrist, you will be working with individuals admitted from multiple referral sources, including jails, hospitals, and community settings, and providing treatment collaboratively with psychiatric and primary care practitioners, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other mental health professionals.
