D. program • Eligible for licensure as a clinical psychologist in Virginia • Significant clinical leadership experience in a clinical psychology program at a major academic medical center, including clinical practice oversight, strategic planning, direct faculty-provider oversight, managing staffing and recruitment, and fostering of clinical research • Proven background in clinical care optimization, quality, safety, and patient engagement • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Responsibilities include: • Building programs of excellence • Implementing new services and models of care • Growing existing programs to meet the needs of patients, trainees, and the community • Developing funded research • Mentoring junior faculty • Internal and external liaison • Supervision of training directors.
