This two-day continuing education symposium will center on the nuts and bolts of everyday care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, and present new ideas for tailoring the most appropriate treatment plan for each individual. Focus will be placed on gauging and monitoring therapy, including recognizing symptoms, evaluating risk factors, guiding treatment through imaging, general and functional testing, and appropriate therapy. Unlike most programs, this will be delivered as a case based program. In other words, how would I manage a diabetic patient with these lipid levels? Case examples make the lectures more relevant to everyday practitioners.

New River Valley Community Services' School Based is seeking a Clinical Program Supervisor! The School Based Clinical Program Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to school-based case management staff, therapeutic day treatment providers, and outpatient staff in the school setting. The School Based Program Supervisor acts as a liaison between staff, NRVCS agency, and school system. This role also ensures quality services are provided and documented that meet policy and regulations set forth by agency, DMAS, and DBHDS. <ul><li>At least three years of experience providing direct clinical services, preferably in a community based mental health setting is required.</li><li>Supervisory experience is required.</li></ul> Starting Salary: $63,300-Depending on Experience Education Requirements: <ul><li>Master's Degree in Social Work or other license-eligible field is required.</li><li>Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist with the State of Virginia or LMHP-E with the ability to become licensed within six months of hire is required.</li></ul>
