At the University of Kentucky, faculty psychologists regularly lead multidisciplinary research teams and conduct collaborative research across a range of clinical settings, including the Department of Psychiatry, Markey Cancer Center, Kentucky Clinic, Gill Heart and Vascular Institute, Kentucky Neuroscience Institute, Eastern State Hospital, and Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. The research focus is open and may complement existing areas of expertise within the department and university-including substance use, brain injury, decision making, attentional processes, learning and memory, Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, affective disorders, and ADHD-or introduce new areas of cognitive or behavioral neuroscience research.
