About the Position: This position is located in 18th Medical Group Kadena Air Base, Japan and provide a team-based approach to healthcare by integrating mental health providers and registered nurses into Primary Care Clinics to deliver outstanding, evidence-based biopsychosocial assessment, treatment, prevention and management of mental health problems and biopsychosocially influenced health conditions for Military Health System beneficiaries. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Education/Experience: A diploma, associate degree, or bachelors degree in Nursing from a professional nursing program and possession of at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or above) which includes providing nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, coordinating patient care, and providing education or training to staff.
