Public Safety Officers serve as front line guardians to the Hartford HealthCare Community by providing customer service and ensuring our environments are safe, secure and more prepared for all of our patients, visitors, colleagues, clinicians and physicians. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children.
As a member of the senior leadership team, they will foster robust collaborations with YPM collections, student programs (Yale community), development, communications, and operations leadership to guide institutional priorities, problem solve and strategically align museum-wide issues and efforts. The Director will evaluate and structure offerings to position the Peabody as a community hub for Yale and New Haven with strategic, sustained partnerships, will forefront collaborative projects that are responsive to Yale and community needs, and will develop a culture of experimentation and evaluation to support data-driven decisions.
Proficiency or demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and work competently with specialized software, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, NetX, EMS (Event Management System), Workday, Yale's payment system, and TMS (The Museum System).
