Key Deliverables:Sales & Purchase Orders* Manage Sales orders - confirm price, develop quotes, product availability and lead time* Manager Purchase Orders - prepare purchase orders, place orders promptly and liaise with vendors to ensure on time shipping and delivery; coordinate with forwarder, steamship lines, Customs broker and other logistic service providersLogistics Management* Verify and track freight to ensure timely shipping, communicate status and potential delays to internal stakeholders; arrange local delivery and additional services as required; review and create certificates of analysis as appropriate* Resolve shipment issues and nonconformances performing root cause analysis and collaborating with key stakeholders for best outcome* Custom Brokerage & Clearance - obtain, file and provide required documentation for entry, monitor agency clearance(s)Supplier & Vendor Management* Build and sustain long-terms vendor, service provider and internal stakeholder partnershipsOperational Controls* Administrative - receive invoices, approve payments, create and code invoices* Collaborate with colleagues and field personnel to ensure compliance with all government agencies on import productsEducation/Experience/Training:* Bachelor's degree preferred, with preference for concentration in supply chain/logistics, international trade or economics* Min.
