This position performs inventory control activities regarding these materials.  What you’ll be contributing:  <ul><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , replenishing the supplies.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Maintains an understanding of parts and supplies required for plant production and maintenance needs.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Confers with department managers regarding the importance and/or priority of maintaining specified levels of supplies.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Contacts vendors to reconcile overages/shortages in shipments.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Coordinates with vendors to maintain both electrical and mechanical shop stock.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Conducts physical inventory (includes off-site inventory).</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Participates and/or conducts safety meetings and inspects storeroom for safety regulation compliance.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Maintains all warehouse, i.e., housekeeping, storage locations, dead stock termination.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Maintains automated stock re-order system to ensure adequate stocking levels.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Prepares Return Material Authorization shipments to vendor repair facilities.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Distributes maintenance literature and other pertinent information to plant personnel using the equipment or supplies purchased.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Assists other plant personnel by preparing storeroom requisitions and helping to find parts and other supplies.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Provides vacation relief for Purchasing Agent.</li><li style="line-height:normal;font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif">Participates in annual physical inventory activities.</li><li
