The Design Engineer analyzes customer requirements, develops manufacturable designs, performs or supports engineering calculations, and partners with operations, sourcing, quality, project management, and customers to deliver safe, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions. At the Senior Design Engineer level, leads complex design efforts, mentors other engineers and drafters, supports technical decision-making, and helps resolve design, manufacturability, quality, or customer requirement issues.
