Hands on operation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and heating systems, fire prevention equipment including fire and house pumps, standpipes, sprinkler systems, knowledge of Class E fire alarm system, control panel (FCS) and portable fire extinguishers, compressor banks, BMS, AHUs, VAVs, boilers, pumps, VFDs, Generators, domestic water tower, pressure tanks, inergen fire suppression, water heater, dampers, actuators, chillers and cooling tower operations. Individual must be certified as Operating Engineer possessing both Refrigeration of FDNY COF Q-01/99 and CFC Licenses; and the standpipe/sprinkler S-12 & S-13 COFs; other FDNY certificates a plus; must have at least 3-5 years' experience in HVAC plant operations and plumbing experience; must be able to work flexible hours and various shifts including overnight.
