Proficient in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) / Romer arms for automated quality inspections + Performs inspections and tests per QC Manual, QA Manual, procedures, instructions, drawings, and travelers at specified stages in production process + Inspects and/or tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics + Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality of products or materials + Records inspection and test data + Evaluates inspection and/or test data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers + Recommends modifications of existing quality or production manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability + Sets up and performs nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance or material characteristics, as applicable ABW is a leader in the Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear and Energy industries.
