May attend periodic meetings and training sessions that are non-contractual or include exclusive government business discussions that may include, but not limited to, morning/evening reports, huddles, grand rounds, group training, patient scheduling and coordination, and/or professional in-house staff conferences/meetings and other professional activities as determined by the department chief that correlate to patient care services performed only. Experience in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures as clinically indicated in upper endoscopy (esophagogastroduodenoscopy), sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, mucosal biopsy, polypectomy, dilation (balloon andboug ie) endoscopic hemostasis (variceal/non-variceal sclerotherapy, banding, thermocoagulation, and injection), percutaneous liver biopsy, ambulatory pH studies and esophageal motility studies.
