Implements emergency use of seclusion and restraints Ensures quality patient care Documents patient information Staffs assigned units Provides leadership and supervision for the infirmary and all units Plans patient treatment Intervenes psychotherapeutically with patients Intervenes with respect to patient psychopharmacology and physiological needs Supports and interprets facility and department objectives and Ensure service excellence delivery. The incumbent must by physically capable of providing direct total physical care to unpredictable, potentially violent, mentally ill patients as necessary including lifting, supporting, running towards or away from areas where problems are occurring, and pushing and pulling equipment, such as, wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
