The Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works collaboratively with radiation oncologists, nursing staff, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for oncology patients receiving radiation therapy. The APP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, educating, and managing patients throughout the continuum of cancer care, including consultation, treatment planning, symptom management, survivorship, and follow-up care.
