One or more years of experience as a staff Radiation Therapist in a hospital or freestanding cancer center Experience working in a community-based cancer center with a diverse adult patient population Previous use of common treatment planning and oncology information systems such as Eclipse, ARIA, or equivalent platforms Experience with image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and 3D conformal techniques Comfort with treating patients across a wide range of disease sites, including breast, prostate, lung, and head and neck Experience participating in quality assurance programs, machine QA, and process improvement initiatives Background working within a multidisciplinary oncology team, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and dosimetrists Ability to provide patient education and support regarding treatment expectations, side effect management, and follow-up care Interest in ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in radiation therapy technology and techniques .
