Administers diagnostic x-rays; adjusts equipment, determines proper exposure technique and time, arranges immobilization and support devices, properly adjusts shielding to protect patients, and insures images are captured correctly and accurately per physician instructions. Ability to exercise independent judgment, use critical thinking skills, show initiative, planning, possess excellent communication skills, and work effectively on a team.
